Fun and friendly place to eat. Food is fantastic and there is plenty of parking. A hidden gem!

We’ve done dine in and take out here. The food is awesome. They sell their ranch dressing and BBQ sauce also which is a huge plus. The ribs and the brisket are fire and so are the loaded potato skins

Worst bbq I’ve ever had, shortchanged me by a mile on my brisket. Mac n cheese was watery. Corn bread taste like cardboard. Not good at all!!

BEWarE. …We had our family Christmas party catered yesterday, the food arrived cold and the turkey had mold spots on it , I called the restaurant this morning and the lady was super rude. All I said was I have the turkey in a whole no one ate it because it didn’t taste right and we didn’t want to get sick. Can I bring it back and get a refund for the turkey she said no and hung up on me. The other food was bland and cold. I highly recommend that you do not ever call these people to cater your holiday party

The minute you enter Back 40 Texas BBQ Restaurant, you feel as though you are stepping back 100 years in Texas. The restaurant is decorated with an old-time western theme. The food and service were outstanding, our meal was prepared to perfection, and service was tops! This was our first trip to Back 40 Texas BBQ Restaurant & Catering. We were very impressed and will return! Do yourself a favor and give Back 40 Texas BBQ Restaurant & Catering a try; you will not be disappointed!
