I was at the cashier paying and asking about grilled chicken. In the middle of the conversation the cashier helped another customer who was obviously his friend without asking us for permission. When my husband asked him why he cut the line he said you took too long and didn’t apologize. When we checked the reciept there was vague numbers in the bill we went back to check he rudely told us go back in line. I requested a manager and the owner refused to come out to resolve my issue.
Love this place. Perfect place for Mediterranean food and shopping for halal meat and Chicken.
I love this supermarket the food take some time to get done but totally worth the wait. The Iraqi and diamond bread is amazing and highly recommended as well as the Falafel and beef Kebab.
I liked this shop. Stuff is very nice. All food are halal. And you can choose anything and eat over there
The food is not acceptable. I will never eat again in Babylon.
Wonderful market, hot deli, and bakery. The fresh flat breads (pita etc) is free of preservatives and so light and delicious. I didn’t try the baklava but it looked beautiful. They have an extensive selection of Middle Eastern spices (Aleppo pepper, Sumac), grains (teff for injera, bulgar wheat for tabouleh), dairy products (Labneh balls in chili oil), rose water, Pomegranate juice, and more. I was there looking for persimmons, fresh pistachios, dates, and dried apricots for holiday charcuterie — and I hit the jackpot in the back room. The man at the meat counter was friendly. I love their beef shawarma with garlic sauce and pickled veggies. Their hummus is rich and smooth. Worth a drive!
