Favorite place in the area. Service was excellent
We walked in and were greeted quickly and told it would be a 20 minute wait. There were actually 3/4 tables that left quickly but it was another 5 minutes to have us seated. That’s ok, they were busy. I ordered the seafood platter and it was good. I would give it a 4 on a 5 scale. Also had a cup of the seafood gumbo and this was a tad bland to be honest as I salted and added hot sauce. I rated this a 3 and my least favorite. The cup of red beans and rice a hard 5 and this was the shining bowl with my order. The LA produced Abita beer was priceless!! Side note: One of my guests has the red beans and rice BOWL which also has sausage and he loved it! Another guest the shrimp remoulade and was so so on this dish as it was smothered with this horseradish sauce not drizzled as told. Last guest had the appy platter and said it was “Ok” My grade food overall 4 Service overall 4 Atmosphere 4 and the guitar player was awesome!
1st time there and the food was incredible and the waiter was great! The guitar player, who by the way, I was told is 95 years old was amazing! I'll definitely be back!
Baby Kay's is one of my favorite places to go eat. The food is wonderful! Tonight was even better than usual everything was amazing. The wings were nice and crispy, we get the renne sauce on the side. The budan balls we great too. My kids got a bowl of chicken sausage gumbo and pretty much licked the bowl clean. My husband and I split the smothered porkchop and green olive coleslaw. It was all amazing!
This is the second time my husband and I have eaten here. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is nice and the service is great! Tonight Chris was our server and he was amazing. We will definitely be back!
