Babo Boba (or BABO BOBA if you're passionate) is a unique, Korean-inspired bubble tea shop featuring flavors that are hard to find elsewhere in the Bay Area. The place might be hard to find given the nondescript exterior, but once you're inside, the Korean influence is easy to see (and hear, with the K-pop in the background). There's not much seating inside but at least there are some tables right outside. The service is typical, and the waiting time is usually low as there's rarely a crowd except for special events. The drinks come in stylized cups, to be expected. Although all sizes are fixed, you can still customize other aspects like sweetness and additional toppings. You can of course order the classic drinks like black tea, jasmine tea, and Thai tea, but I think it's more worthwhile ordering any of the signatures. Perhaps inspired by a certain Korean hit show, several drinks feature Dalgona coffee and honeycomb. I've also enjoyed the Green Milky Way and Whitepink. [Side note: I personally would love to see more diversity in chocolate, as the cocoa powder in the Green Milky Way doesn't really add much and the Choco is not vegetarian due to the marshmallow.] The boba is good but not exceptional. I appreciate the street snacks being part of the menu. I have never tried tteokkochi, and it tasted nice and fresh. Overall I think Babo Boba is a nice addition to the bubble tea scene, and I will likely keep returning to cycle through the other signature offerings. Parking: Parking is available but limited.

Menu was pretty good compared to other boba places. After asking I got helpful recommendation from the server/owner. Milky way was pretty good as well. I’ll be back for sure. Pretty neat place. Owner/server was very humble and polite. We had a nice chat about our cars. His supra is quite beautiful
