Azure Fusion Bistro & Saké

Wow! Tuna tower was the best I’ve had hands down. Owner needs help but has a lot of hustle. We will be coming back every time we’re in town.

So far the best Sushi I have had since moving to College Station!!!

This is a really great restaurant. I've been there twice and both times have been awesome. The food, atmosphere, and music are really good. The owner is very nice and took time to speak with us. Parking: There is plenty of parking.

The man working was extremely sweet snd the sushi was amazing! Very fresh fish and so yummy!

Overall really good. There was a note on the door stating that the restaurant is short staffed. The guy working there was doing everything- sushi, tables, drinks, and more. He’s a hard worker and produced a great product. The food was amazing. I just didn’t expect to be in the restaurant for an hour and a half due to being short staffed. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. If you’re not in a hurry and want quality food, then this is the place!

It really pains me to honestly review Azure. I guess the owners name is Sunny. Only because other reviewers say so. He didn’t introduce himself and spoke very little English. He is definitely a hard worker and puts out a good product. Other than the volcano roll, which was a mess in a bowl. The main problem is with the service. He has no help. And in a town with so many college kids, it must be his choice to work alone. There is someone else in the kitchen I think. When we arrived it was my wife and I and another 4 top. By the time we were done, it was us and the 4 top, 2 other 2 tops, a 3 top and another 4 top. A pretty good crowd. As he prepares the sushi himself, it took forever to receive our food. The other tables that came in after us waited forever for water, then their food. What bothered me as well, is that a small Hispanic guy walked in with 2 friends. Talked to Sunny and he directed him to serve the tables water. So without washing his hands, he served ice water to the other tables. He then grabbed 3 beers for him and his friends. They were also served before the other people that were already seated and waiting for a bit. We eventually had to walk up to the sushi bar to ask for our check because we were tired of waiting for the final roll we ordered over an hour and a half ago. The rolls we had were good, but the service is desperately lacking and unfortunately his restaurant may not survive with this current business model. I’ll try again next season when we’re in town. Hopefully he will have some employees that can serve patrons properly and expeditiously.

The food was phenomenal! Someone dining with us had food allergies and they were very reassuring and understood the concern with cross-contamination. Kids loved the orange chicken and wonton soup, and the ramen was great! We’ll be going back!

Great little place! Food was delicious and sake martinis were very good as well. The chef was making food, running the bar, waiting tables, seating folks, washing dishes and taking payments. And yet, our water glasses were never empty and we never felt neglected. Impressive service! We’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

I have no clue who the negative reviewers are, particularly the ones who say "Sunny" is Chinese?!?! He is from Yokohama and is by far the most authentic Japanese chef I have found in Texas. Friendly as ever, amazing freshness, unbeatable in my opinion.
