Awesome Coffee

The new payment machine ruined the vibe for me. I used to love this place. I love that it has a library vibe, offers wifi and opens until 2am! The coffees are good, in good quantity and the servers were always gentle and friendly. However, recently their paying machine, once you pay, shows a 18% tipping screen and if you wanna skip it, you have to go all way down and specify an amount and put 0%. I would love to tive a tip sometimes, but being forced to do so kinda makes me embarrassed if I don’t. And I noticed a change in the server mood once I put zero. For me, this is kinda making me avoiding going there altogether. It kinda killed the mood for me. I hope all the good for the place and the employees!

A great place for late night work since they are open late. Ample amount of seating. The workers were friendly and I got a vanilla latte that was really good. I liked the classical music they played. Not much else to say but I'd come back again.

That dark guy is a very bad manager, there is no Wi-Fi in this establishment, he talks rudely to the employees, does not show the salary in full, says if you are not satisfied with something, you can leave, orders the cheapest products, and upon entering cafe, you can see very dirty microwaves, from which you don’t want to eat, all the tips go into his pocket, he doesn’t show it to his employees, know this when you want to leave a tip, very dirty cushions on the seats, which are scary to sit on, afraid that pick something up. .very disgusting experience with this cafe... it's far from "amazing rather terrible"

Cool spot to do work

i love this place… perfect place to work and open till 2am. excellent coffee and food. highly recommended

Showed up on a Tuesday morning. This place is super nice and quiet. Music playing isn't too crazy. More low-key jazzy and older jazz type stuff. Good spot to just work on stuff with lots of plugs everywhere. There was also a printer near the entrance. WIFI was down. I noticed the light fixtures could use some dusting though haha. also, the place was like super warm. Turkey club was surprisingly tasty. Ordered an oat milk latte. $23 altogether Parking: parking in plaza is for an hour only. street meter parking out front. I parked a block away on Gramercy for free. Nice little walk.

My two friends & I were quickly going over film work on our laptops ( bad wifi ), planned to get our matcha’s & ice cream to go. Manager(?) walked passed us THREE times staring. Then came over ( pretending to be on the phone) asking if there was a plastic bag near us. We said no. Then upon us packing up, comes over & tells us how we can’t come in there & just sit. ( Wait what? ) I proceed to ask her how does she know we were just sitting? She replies, my workers said you were. I replied, “So your workers were watching us?” THEN she changes her tune & says “Well we have cameras.” Instead of just admitting SHE walked over & saw us sitting. SHE came over to inspect if we had food/drinks. And SHE made an assumption & ran with it. Instead of ASKING us did we plan to purchase, she spoke to us like kids. She could of ASKED instead of accusing. I would NEVER return here.
