Cons: - The misir wat (red lentils) were hard and undercooked, wouldn't recommend. Second time at this restaurant that the lentils were undercooked. - They don't pay for ad free music so every now and then you're listening to loud radio ads. Imagine a candle lit dinner and a bill of almost $100 and you're listening to loud ads. For that reason alone I'm unlikely to return. - Terrible value for money. $50 before tax&tip for a shared veg platter for 2 is a robbery. Pros: - Good service - Nice decor and vibe - Mostly good food
Worst Ethiopian restaurant I've ever had in my life for both food taste and quantity and service. Forced 20% tip. Horrible service. Waited forever for the food. Can't even provide hot water unless you buy tea. You need to pay extra $16ish to share between 3 people if you only order 2 portions, even though it's still the same amount of food for 2 people. Not sure where all the good reviews come from.
This is the place for Ethiopean food! I have enjoyed Ethiopean food all over the US - and this my absolute favorite. Get the meat sampler; you won't regret it.
Vegan platter was so good. So many flavors!
We love this food. Get vegi combo for great variety.
Very satisfied. Unique environment and tastes. Kind service.
Good food and great service! Been there couple times and never disappoints!
Ordered take out. The tofu tibs and veggie plater. We have ordered from here in the past and had good food, but was really disappointed with last order. The veggie plater was mostly grilled veggies with very little shiro crammed into the side. The food was altogether okay for the $60 we spent. The tofu tibs was also mediocre. Perhaps experience is better dining in, but I will not be ordered take out from here again.
