The best Ethiopian food in south Florida! We love eating here!

Had a delicious late lunch at Awash today. Leah provided fantastic service and the best recommendations. The food is so flavorful. Get the lamb tips and skip the silverware. Thanks for a great first experience with Ethiopian cuisine (and wine)!

One of our favs. If you are used to spicy or authentic Ethiopian, request it. Otherwise, the owners toned down the spice due to the majority of its Miami patrons not liking it authentic. Sorry Miami, but you can only take some heat

Been coming here for years and we never get tired of it. The Taste of Awash with extra special Tibs(cubed steak in garlic sauce ) is our Goto here. The Coffee alone would be enough to give it 5 stars but overall I give this place is 6 stars out of 5. It’s that good! Worth the drive if you’re out of town. The food and decor are phenomenal. It’s rare my family and I eat Ethiopian food. The next closest to us is four hours away. So happy to see this place so close to home. It’s a unique experience for anyone who has not tried it. Vegetarian options: Most plates are vegetarian. Parking: Easy parking. No charge.
