Avli on The Park

Restaurant and location is super cute, better then the other Avli locations on the inside but our server was the worst. He was super unfriendly, Unknowledgeable about the deals. Extremely poor service. Was not the vibe. Do better sir.

Tasty, fresh food as well as amazing service tonight! The Greek potatoes, sampler spreads with pita bread, fried calamari, saganaki, avocado halloumi, and chicken souvlaki were all delicious. The chef is very talented. Had a great time with my friends and the views from the restaurant were beautiful as well.

Writing this review to provide awareness. We sat at the bar - bartender service was great, attentive, good sense of humor and on point - exactly what you would hope for. 5 stars to every employee! This review of 1 star is for the management. We turned around to hear and see one of the two bartenders that was taking great care of us being absolutely SCOLDED by a manager/owner - some guy clearly “in charge” in a discount suit. I couldn’t take my eyes off the child in charge as I felt terrible for the employee that was great to us. When he noticed I was staring he laughed and said “don’t worry, we’re not fighting”. Complete ignorance, it was very distasteful. Word of advice - don’t treat your employees (or anyone for that matter) like that. I was embarrassed for his behavior and I have no association! We won’t be back unless we hear of his departure, then we’ll be back to support! And any employee there - don’t let them treat you that way. There are a lot of restaurant groups (most actually!) eager for applications. Comment if I can be of any assistance!

Went during restaurant week. Not great service. Had to ask for the brunch menu, drinks took about 20-25 minutes to reach us, didn't clear plates really, and wouldn't allow us to split a bill. Not going back.

Aside from the overall incredible experience, it was a breath of fresh air not seeing a surcharge line item on our receipt. Thank you, Avli, for building all of your costs into the menu price.

One of the best places to eat for both lunch and dinner in the city.
