Attended a private event and everything was great. The plancha shrimp was the absolute best! The pork broth was more of a veloute, though. Regardless, it was fantastic! Great job all the way around from beginning to end.

Sad to see the burger taken off the menu with new management. That was one of the things that brought us back here almost weekly. Really hope they bring it back :(. Update: So glad the hamburger is back and in it's old form once a week!! Thank you!

Disappointing experiences at a formerly beloved standby. The quality of the food preparation has been declining, with the same dish prepared with less skill on each successive visit. The oddness of the wine list seems to increase each time, with too much effort put into choosing unusual wines that always disappoint. Very sad.

The wife and I really enjoyed sitting at the bar at Aviary. Had excellent service and advice on what wines to try based on our preferences. We like to restaurant bar hop on date night and this was our first stop and I wish we would tried more than just the seared scallops, which were beyond excellent AND we got to watch the chef prepare them! This was my favorite out of the other 3 places we tried. Very cozy atmosphere and the wine we tried was great. We aren't big wine drinkers, so we tried the lesser expensive ones, but we were very happy with our choices. Ready to go back very soon!

My boyfriend and I were excited to have a date night here. However, the dishes were completely hit or miss. For the misses, it was almost as if the chef wanted to be adventurous with ingredients, but never actually tried the finished product. We tried the burger that everyone raves about but it tasted almost vinegar-y. The service was good, but it was extremely warm within the restaurant. Bummed that Austin continues to have a sub par food scene.
