My family and I were looking for some BBQ spots in the area and came across here. I called to have some questions answered, following up to place our order for Take-Out. The owner Valerie, answered the phone and very was rude/unwelcoming the entire phone call. My family and I decided to not even give it a try due to the unacceptable customer service before even experiencing stepping foot into the business nor trying the food. — Hospitality is definitely needed in running a restaurant. Make sure your guests are welcomed, in person and over the phone.
A recent customer and last time ever to come to this BBQ hole in the wall place ,the prices are cheap and the food taste the same ,the owner is Very UNPROFESSIONAL,in dealing with customers,, and can’t handle a bad review, the place is clean because the lack of business, thank for a gut wrenching plate of BAD SERVICE,and BAD BBQ
Brisket and fried okra delicious.
Mrs. Valerie, We clearly, heard you on the call cussing when we had to make changes to the $80 order. I found it funny that you didn't apologize for your vulgar choice of words but you were quick to let us know you were the owner. I get that you have been in business for a while might i suggest & it wouldn't hurt you to take a refresher in a customer service etiquette class & maybe a class on how to season your chicken because it was dry and unseasoned.
Three times the charm I’m used to carters n bodacious but Austin’s is way past that and the service is so good!
Great neighborhood restaurant/bar. Super friendly owners and patrons. Food is great live music on weekends.
Solid spot. Loaded brisket baked potato was well cooked and tasty. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Quality meat, great flavor, a little pricey but inline with other bbq shops.
The food in my opinion wasn’t very good. The potato salad didn’t have much flavor, nor did the ribs. I got a rib plate and the only good thing was the beans. I doctored up my plate when I got home and the ribs were still kind of dry. However the service is great!
