Quaint family owned superb restaurant. Great food and atmosphere.
Country fried steak was 25% hollow breading, the actual meat is much smaller than the amount of breading used
Ordered take out from here during a weekday morning while I was staying at a hotel in Anaheim. Ordered two vegan burritos and vegan pancakes. The burritos were good, but the pancakes were dry. They forgot to give me butter or syrup for the pancakes. Dry pancakes do not taste the greatest. I spent $50 for breakfast that morning and was heavily disappointed. I even tipped the waitress $5 cash so i figured she would have done her job and given me what pancakes are supposed to be eaten with, but nope not at all. I also emailed the only email I found available for this place and never got a response. Waited over a month for a response and nothing.
Think of a cozy Denny’s with a family owned vibe, close quarters and good food with HUGE portions. This reminds of a black bear diner with their portion but fresh ingredients here. The parking lot has plenty of spaces, but if you come on weekends beware of a small wait which is worth it. Other than that most of the time you can get jammed in between tables to enjoy some classic American breakfast dishes or a vegan version of it. I’ve had the country fried steak and chili fries here and it was a great brunch meal.. good job guys
The best vegan breakfast in the OC!!! Vegetarian options: It so good!
