We had a belated anniversary dinner here last night and it was DELICIOUS!! I mean every course! The wait staff was excellent and very attentive! I even tried my husband’s clam chowder (which I normally don’t like) and it was so good I almost didn’t give the bowl back! Definitely recommend!
What a lovely spot, terrific food, warm service. Just a perfect brunch spot in Zionsville.
This was our 4th and final Valentine’s Day dinner at Auberge. This was a dinner we looked forward to each year. This year the restaurant is under new management and it was more than disappointing. It took 15 minutes to get us acknowledged and water, after finally putting in a drink order, it took an hour to get our appetizer. It took another hour to be served soup and salad. Going into our third hour we finally we served entrees and dessert. During our meal we watched other tables get courses skipped. The manager came out to apologize and each time state she didn’t expect to be so busy. They are a French restaurant and it’s Valentine’s Day. Clearly Auberge is no longer under quality leadership. I miss the wait staff from before. They were friendly, and always provided excellent service. We will not be returning after so many wonderful experiences with family and friends during the past 4 years. It makes me sad.
Auberge is a very charming restaurant with excellent food, great service, and a friendly atmosphere. The Brick Street Breakfast and Pomme de Terre was everything we excepted. The fireplace added a warm and comfortable touch on a cold raining day. My husband I look forward to more dining here.
What a wonderful experience! Melissa H. was our server and she was excellent. She was very attentive and knowledgeable about the food on the menu. The food was excellent also. We had the salmon and the quiche. I don't normally like risotto but their risotto was very good! This is a great place to come for lunch or dinner. Also when you come ask for Melissa H. You won't be disappointed!
Just an overall quality restraunt with great prices. I will be returning to auberge for their excellent French cuisine. In addition, the server we had was wonderful and the atmosphere was phenomenal. Vegetarian options: Many of their soups and other dishes were vegetarian. Parking: We found a spot to park within minutes. Kid-friendliness: There was a bar with a big selection. However, you can bring your kids here without worrying.
Food and service was great!
I am super thrilled that Auberge is finally back! It's a new chef, new menu, and new staff, but they had all my favorite dishes and more. Our server was friendly and attentive, and he took wonderful care of us. There were additional small plate options, not pictured, but I was able to sub in the crab avocado baguette. The duck was magnificent, and I loved the creme brulee. I've had duck there prior to the temporary closure several times, and this new dish is by far my favorite. The pomegranate seeds and brussel sprouts were divine! My husband devoured his chicken dish and the three different pomme frites with three dipping sauces. A little dimmer on the lights, perhaps cover the flashing open sign, and some French music, and it would've been completely perfect. Thanks for good food for our date night!
