Outstanding. From impeccably timed service to the music to the wine list to the delicious food. We can’t say enough good things about Atwood. Thank you Grace in the dining room, and Mariah in the kitchen. We felt like we had been transported to another place! What Atwood has is really special. Don’t hesitate, just book a table and go’
The oyster selection was excellent as were the drinks. The scallops were delicious, but my favorite were the mussels and polenta. Great service and a lovely atmosphere. Wasn’t too loud like a lot of Cincinnati restaurants, so made it easy to have good conversation
I recently dined at Atwood and it was thoroughly impressed by the culinary experience. The food was exquisite, boasting an intriguing combination of flavors. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the fresh oysters, which were impeccably sourced and expertly prepared. Each bite was a testament to the restaurant's commitment to quality and freshness.
My friends and I love oysters and were excited to have a new spot in Greater Cincinnati… We thought this was very overpriced and had very few options to offer on the menu. Although we figured we were in for a treat with the variety/detail behind the oyster selection, we were disappointed to find most tasted like the aquarium. They didn’t even offer hot sauce. Staff seemed to be shocked we would ask for that. The only thing we really enjoyed was the focaccia, but even that wasn’t what you’d normally expect for focaccia. Drinks were good also. Service was a little slow, considering we only got two things. As disappointed as we were, we went across the street to Krueger’s. There we enjoyed the oysters rockefeller much more. Fries were good too. I think we’ll be sticking to Libbie’s and Rich’s in Covington for our raw oyster nights.
My partner and I went on Valentine's Day and it was very busy. But the servers and cooks were a well-oiled machine. We got everything in a timely manner, my server helped me pick out a wine and told my partner about a great pairing for the roasted oysters. And let me tell you. These were the best oysters I've ever had in my life. Everything was phenomenal.
Excellent addition to the Cincinnati food scene, fresh and roasted oysters, beautiful wine pairings, and a regal atmosphere
Our dinner date at Atwood couldn’t have been better. The atmosphere was perfect for a date night, the entire experience felt intimate. The oyster selection was supreme and refreshing. However the highlight of our night was our server Alex. He recommended plates that blew us away, his casual charm and charisma made our night. We cannot wait to return for more delicious food and will be demanding Alex as our server!
If Charleston, SC invaded Cincinnati. This place is outstanding. I do not normally leave reviews but this place is a must. The flavors on all the dishes are so complex. The confit cabbage is one of the best dishes I have ever had. Highly recommend going.
Gorgeous surroundings and when we went it was pretty empty (8:15 on a Thursday in winter), so it was quiet and felt very intimate and special. We aren’t big seafood people and certainly not big oyster people, but the Atwood Instagram account made everything look sooo tasty so we knew we wanted to try out the place. We had no oysters, but we did have the focaccia, the black cod stew, the whole fish, and the crème brûlée. I’m a bread and crème brûlée snob, and both the focaccia and the crème brûlée were fantastic. The black cod stew was hearty and really lovely on a winter night. The whole fish and accompanying salad felt very healthy but still undeniably special. Next time, we plan to try the pork chop and the grilled oysters. The service was great as well—attentive, helpful, and friendly. It’s a bit pricey, but in my opinion worth it for a special night out or even just for drinks and apps with friends. We liked our cocktails and the wine by the glass menu is one of the most varied I’ve seen.
Ate at Atwood for the first time tonight and had. Great experience. The food was delicious and the service was awesome. Shoutout to Bailey! The braised cabbage was to die for and the mussels were the best I’ve had. Thank you for a great meal! Can’t wait to come back!
