Athen Family Restaurant Brunch, Burgers, Steaks and Seafood

The service and food at this Greek restaurant were truly exceptional. The dishes were prepared fresh, which meant a slight waiting time, but it was well worth it. I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion sizes, especially considering the reasonable prices. While the decor was a bit on the darker side, they also offered outdoor seating which provided a lovely alternative. Vegetarian options: Since food is made fresh, you can make modifications. Fantastic service great quality food !

Really nice meal. We had a special salad and chicken souvlaki. Excellent service, and cloth napkins(!). We will be back. (Only reduced down 1 star for Atmosphere because the overhead music of knock-off top 40 hits... A per peeve!)

My wife & I have recently been looking for an authentic Greek Restaurant in Sarasota. This is the real deal. Fabulous food, excellent service, convenient parking & reasonably priced. Highly recommend A++++++

This food was truly disgusting. My girlfriend and I were both sick and throwing up. Veggies were mush, gyros were dripping with grease, chicken was from the day before, shrimp was nasty, I will tell everyone to stay far away from this place. I would give -10 if I could. I’m shocked at all the positive reviews.
