Ate O'Clock

We actually ate in the cafe. The GF option was excelent. We all enjoyed our soup and bread.

Scallops were OK chicken was incredibly tough dessert was tiny and was brought the wrong drinks. For one starter two mains a dessert and a few drinks each this cost over £100. Honestly the worst meal I've had out in years. Would never go back

Excellent food, with nice and friendly service. Have a joyful dinner with my daughter.

Great place tucked away from the main street. I visit often so thought it's time I left a review. Very friendly staff and great service every time I have been. There are plenty of vegetarian options too which is great ad a few of my friends are veggie. Tonight I had the bork belly dish and it was incredible, presented well with plenty of vegetables and delicious crispy pork belly.

Used to be one of my favourite restaurants now it seems to aim at the masses. Service is always good. Prices have dropped a lot but the food itself reflects that. Chips were like McDonald’s. Quite a few children in when we went

I wanted to take my mum out to York to celebrate her birthday. Saw excellent reviews on Google for Ate O'clock & and noticed it also had & Traveller's Choice Award 2023 from TripAdvisor, so thought I'd give it a go. We were not disappointed! No booking required. We were met by a young lady who asked if we had a booking but was very accomodating. Nothing was too much trouble and we were seated quickly and looked after by the attentive staff, who made the experience even better. There was a wide selection and we chose from the Al a Carte menu, Wild Mushroom Linguine, with parmesan crisp (wow) & added Chicken for an extra £2.50 & a portion of skinny fries to share....... compliments to the chef! Very well presented on the plate and absolutely delicious. Worth every penny! Infact I was pleasantly surprised when the bill arrived. Looking forward to returning soon. Thankyou

Do not eat here the food was off and made me sick

such a beautiful space! and the service was incredible. we got too full for desert and asked the staff the cancel it, but instead they brought us out a mini brownie! incredibly thoughtful and delicious food, would definitely recommend
