The food here is AMAZING! You wouldn't expect it from the small restaurant, but the menu packs a punch. The brisket is amazing, the oxtail dinner is definitely a must, and take your pick of their sides-- you won't be disappointed. Definitely on my list of top 3 BBQ places in Phoenix

Solid food all around. My favorite is the brisket hands down. Probably one of the best. Stopped in for a light snack and got 2 pulled pork tacos and they hit the spot. My usual go-to meal is the Straddling the Fence so I can have leftovers for dinner. I usually do the brisket, pulled pork and pork belly with mac and cheese and coleslaw. JL is one of the most appreciative business owners of his customers. Never have not been greeted by the pit master himself. He's passionate about his food and every meal I get there, solidifies that. I need to try the burger and catfish sometime.

Delicious. Absolutely delicious....! I can't remember the last time (maybe ever) I had beef brisket that was that good. Very flavorful and juicy not dry. Hefty portions. Very very very good. This was my first time here. Definitely made me a believer. I will definitely be back! *Only negative thing I will say is they only had diet soda in stock. So they ran out of everything but water and diet soda. Kind of bummed me out to be eating that good with only water to compliment it with. Kind of like mashed potatoes without gravy ️ If that's the worst thing you have to say about a place then I would say that place would be excellent!... and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for some really good barbecue. -Hard to find in Phoenix in 2024 Check out the pictures I posted. Food is great, ribs are pork and I ordered them not knowing. The greens however are cooked without pork

Great bbq/smoked meats..side dishes are ok...they are out of most sides after 4pm on the weekend....lonnnng wait for orders placed in person...they cater to online orders

The greens that we bought were not cooked thoroughly and they did not pull the greens off the stems and didn't cook the greens all the way through.
