Hands down, best sushi i have ever eaten!! the owner, vincent, truly put so much work into making Asuka an unforgettable experience. The service was impeccable and nothing went unnoticed. Beautiful atmosphere and very clean place, amazing waiters, and most of all the food melts in your mouth. Absolutely worth trying. I have been to a countless amount of sushi restaurants and this one is by far top of my list!
All the food was great and the service was very attentive. Highly recommend the lychee sorbet for dessert! Only downside is the place was pretty loud. Pretty casual vibe.
Great experience. The sushi was so fresh it literally melted in my mouth. Definitely going back.
Absolutely loved this place! Everything we ate was phenomenal, and the staff were kind and attentive. The owner came by to welcome us at the beginning of our meal and told us more about the restaurant. Can’t wait to come back and try all the things we didn’t eat this time!
Now starts to be one of my favorites. Great food, well cooked, reasonable price. Although some minor issues, like egg/tofu(? Not sure) with crab after sashimi is probably way too rich: prob some veggies/tea based soup would give a better pacing. But that's my two cents. Generally, a very great restaurant with good food and service. A little bit dark but it's ok.
Quite a unique experience of real Japanese cuisine without any westernization. Authentic, and family-like feel to it.
I think some of the best Sushi in Los Angeles. I understand why they have been there since the 70's. Very generous on their cuts and the rice is perfect. Well done Asuka, see you again soon!
Best sushi on the west side. Amazing quality of fish
Unprofessional boss cheats customer who don’t know Japanese food courtesy.
