Great experience

This was my first time visiting the Asterisk Supper Club. The afternoon tea service was good. Tea pleasantly hot, cuber sugar dish and the milk. Cute little spoons just to ensure the sugar cube melts. Tea sandwiches were delightful, salads were small but perfect for the full afternoon tea. The scones were good with the house-made jam and clotted cream. To end with the desserts was just enough. The only, and major drawback for me was the sound level. I couldn't hear the music most of the time over the loud conversations throughout the restaurant. My table fell back on texting each other rather than adding to the noise level. And one member of the table went back to the car to get earplugs just to sit for tea. So, Go and enjoy but be prepared for your conversation to be limited and hard to hear. Parking: In Uptown Westerville, you already know that parking is at a premium. I parked behind the restaurant in the public lot. There is an ally you can use to walk from the lot to the front of the restaurant.

This restaurant is a great quietly romantic option to take a date. My wife and I went there and had an enjoyable time. We definitely will go back.

Fully aware that it’s bougie to have a favorite tea house to do fancy tea at, but this is it. The tiny tea sandwiches, the little desserts- beautiful and so good! The tea choices are great here and I love the cream and sugar, which I never do at home so it feels extra luxurious here. Just highly recommend coming here for the tea service with someone, it’s so much fun. We also liked looking at the books on the shelves and the little knick knacks. Wheelchair accessibility: The aisles are very narrow and the tables are packed in here- if you’re an adult using a manual chair and can be nimble, no problem. Powerchair users will have a lot more issues in this space- it is not set up for great accessibility, especially getting from the entrance to the bathroom.

This review is for the current menu. The whole menu is a vibe, it will be nostalgic for those of us that were born in the 1980's or lived through them. Maybe not just nostalgic, but a revelation. They take these classic dishes and elevate them higher than the hair in 1980's Dallas hair salon. Yes, dears the food is that good. Our kids devoured the brussel sprouts. Look we grow brussel sprouts fresh, use great balsamic fine cheese, real bacon, and even then our kids weal eat 5 at most in 1 setting. We can cook, but ---oh my, the food here is a amazing. Hidden gem. And the atmosphere is so great. Extra points for people who can see the current menu war, going on in the 614...

This cozy and wonderful gem never disappoints! Everything we have tried on their menu so far has been delightful. The service is awesome and they have great recommendations! Their menus will sometimes change seasonally, and they have great chef specials that are worth trying. Can't wait to go in for afternoon tea one day

Nice place

Delicious tea and tea foods. The bread was a bit dry for the tea sandwiches and needed a bit more condiment. Would have rather had more small bite desserts than heavy scones. We had a large group and the service was excellent and attentive. The restaurant was super busy on a Sunday afternoon.

I can’t even say that the customer service was bad, there was none. Took forever to get our food and the waitress kept schooling us on what we should have done. We could not get their tea service because they didn’t know we were going to be there and they said we had to give up our table in less than 2 hours even though we had to wait a very long time to get served. The restaurant was extremely noisy and you could not hear the person sitting next to you! One of the worst dining experiences ever! Never again!
