Lovely restaurant, staff were brilliant. We had 3 course Easter menu. Delicious. (Toilets immaculate) Parking: We parked at concert Square parking. Kid-friendliness: Yes kid friendly.

We celebrated my stepdaughter's 21st here today and it was lovely. There were ten of us and we had an array of different starters, mains, deserts, cocktails and drinks and it was fab. The workers are great and so obliging and friendly. We will be back - many thanks x

Whilst quite cheap, convenient and convivial, our experience at ask left a lot to be desired. The waiting staff were excellent, which they needed to be as so much about the meal needed questioning. Firstly the tap water, which had a really strange taste and had to be returned. The second bottle of tap water was much better. But it left me feeling that maybe they were doing it deliberately to force us to buy soft drinks. Our main meals arrived. I had seabass and my husband had pasta. They dealt very well with a gluten- free inquiry. My side order of beans and peas was frozen so this also had to be returned. Once it was brought back. It was the right temperature and tasted quite nice. The worst thing about my meal though was the roast potatoes, which had clearly been cooked more than once before, probably cooked from frozen and were quite burnt. They were pretty much inedible. The sea bass was nicely cooked apart from the soggy limp skin. I didn't send these back to lack of time and I really didn't think they would improve the second time around. The cost was quite reasonable but I would have preferred my food to be decent. Well done to the waiting staff. Food needs a coat of looking at.

Food and service is always good. But one big problem. They have phone style card readers for payment, so you don't get proof of payment. Really stroppy manager at Glasgow restaurant just thought I was a complete pain for wanting proof of payment. Location next to bus station suits us for travel plans but will rethink things next time. You have lost our custom.

Food very disappointing, the much loved carbonara cold and well beyond al dente. Two of us managed to eat most of ours, but only because we hadn't eaten all day and no time to wait for rrplacrment dishes, given how slow and chaotic service was. Not fault of waitress who first served us. She was working hard and was very apologetic when we raised issues. More an organisational issue as different waiting staff came and went across the restaurant and dealing with takeaways as well as diners. Noone sermed to have overview or responsibility for service to individual tables. We had to chase up for black pepper, and then for coffees. We did get a discount on food when we complained, but overall it was slow, dishes expensive for what was offered and we have had much better in lots of the many excellent Italian restaurants in Glasgow. Unlikely to be back anytime soon, despite the convenient location across from concert hall.
