Impossible to get through by phone and try ordering online
When first opened, good and service excellent. As time went by, quality of food diminished. Also lunch specials discontinued. They offered an all you could eat buffet, however all people at the table had to order the all you can eat buffet, it was not possible for one person to order the buffet. This was unacceptable. Between the food quality diminishing and the offerings changing, I no longer cared for this restaurant.
Sadly service and consistency have changed so much that we don' t dine at Asiatic any more. The last 3 times we waited for an excessive amount of time for our food to come out. Servers don't clear dirty dishes from your table. And food quality has been inconsistent. I hope they get this worked out and are able to get back to the way it used to be. Original Review: We eat here regularly for lunch and dinner and we have not been disappointed. The sushi is very fresh, appetizers are creative and tasty, and the Thai food is absolutely delicious! I liked this new restaurant in the Northdale area. The atmosphere was nice inside and they have a variety of options on the menu. We were there for lunch and ordered the All You can Eat Hibachi. We started with appetizers, miso soup and salad. The place was empty but I had to waive down the waiter to remind him to bring us our soup. Overall, the food was delicious and I would give it another try.
Not impressed. Service lacks.
Be prepared to wait, 20 mins for a server to even take our order. Then over 1 hr 15 mins to get 4 basic sushi rolls. The server never came to our table in that time to replace and drinks. We've been here a couple times and the wait time has got worse.
Delicious food and great customer service. Hidden gem of a restaurant. Will be going back with family for sure.
