Beat Asian food in Northwest Indiana.
It’s a tiny little spot but the food is so good! One of my favorite things about my experience was being able to see the food be prepared. The wings are something special . I got the honey chili wings, shrimp fried rice and pork and shrimp dumplings. The wings were saucy and still crispy. Definitely coming back again and again. Parking: It’s in a smaller plaza with other food places so parking is kind of wonky.
Sunday (3.5.2023) I dined in for the first time, always order carry out. My experience is the food is good, but service (for me a Black female) seemed off. The female served a small cup of fresh veggies with soup, whereas other customers (white and hispanic) were given much larger portions with their's. And I requested a container to mix a sauce, same thing, other customer's received a medium size one, she gave me a small cup?? Black customer's are treated differently, if you want us to continue doing business with your establishment, some practices must change!!! 3.4.2024: after reading the owners' response to this concern, Black Americans should be reluctant to do business with this Asian Kitchen eatery......The owner made it (Absolutely) clear that if you are unhappy with their service, SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWARE!!!! Take heed to their arrogant message, it attacks all, Asian Kitchen seems to not value Blacks business/money!!!!!! So, I am out to never return to the establishment!
Place was pretty dirty. Food wasn’t that good. I ordered sweet and sour chicken and received orange chicken. Not that impressed at all especially after dropping $50 for two meals, an order of egg rolls and an order of spring rolls.
The rice is amazing. Food is always ready when they say it will be. Food is always hot, too! The orange chicken is or was different than what many people are accustomed to. The second time, I had requested additional sauce, which made it more pallet accepting to me. I do wish it had more orange and a sweeter taste though. However, that's my pallet. So, I squeezed a fresh orange at home and mixed it together. Thus far, everything else I've tried, has been so yummy in me tummy hahaha.
This place is great!!!! Highly recommend it
This place is the best in NWI their customer service is amazing and the atmosphere is very humbling but the food is delicious a have to definitely try when you’re in the area!
I loved the atmosphere and the aesthetics of the restaurant and visually the food looks amazing but as far as taste I had the combo fried rice and pork spring rolls no seasoning no flavor the chicken was over cooked but I'm willing to try other items on the menu. Parking: Not much parking
The food was good. The place was busy and the Google reviews are great. Myself thought it was just average and a little pricey but what isn’t pricey these times? I would not go out of my way to repeat. Unfortunately
