i have been here multiple times & received great service, delicious food, & yummy thai teas! my family & I recommend & bring our friends here! i've love the green curry made with tofu. great prices too

We ordered the Pad Thai, Pineapple fried rice, chicken yellow curry, orange chicken & mango sticky rice. We have passed by this restaurant numerous times without knowing it was there. This place deserves recognition, this is the best Thai I have had since moving to Fresno from the greater Bay Area. It's beautiful inside, very clean and the service is amazing,a very friendly people. A hole in the wall, but in my experience those places are the best and this place is the best. I cannot wait to return.

What an absolute hidden gem. The family and I were looking for some Thai food, but all our usual spots were closed, so we happened upon this place by pure accident and decided to give it a try. Boy oh boy were we soooo blown away and very pleasantly surprised. Literally everything we ordered was fantastic. We got the usual Pad Thai, pineapple fried rice, orange chicken, yellow curry, two orders of mango sticky rice, and two Thai teas. Everything was beyond delicious! We will for sure be back and we'll for sure be telling all of our friends/family about it. It never fails, the tiny little hole in the wall spots are always the best and never fail to impress.

The red curry chicken is 10/10 fantastic. The pad thai and drunken noodles are good. I special ordered garlic chicken (not on the menu) and it's fantastic! The customer service is exceptional. Overall, a solid place to eat real Thai food from a family whose actually from Thailand. ps. I'm a Thai food connoisseur and grew up eating thai food Bangkok style.

Calamari was OK Spring rolls very disappointed lettuce and rice,1 leaf of basil and 1 piece of shrimp! Good peanut sauce! Asked for mild on my Green Curry and it was too Spicy for me to eat. Hopefully I can find something to my liking because I will try this place 1 more time! Service was excellent and food came out in a reasonable time even though they were busy at 5pm.

My new favorite Thai place in town, everything is fantastic

I took my family to U-D Thai Restaurant because I was curious about it after reading an article on Fresno Bee. They were so busy when we got there around 1:30 PM. It was a long wait for our order. However, the waitress had informed us in advance and asked if that was okay with us. If you see my pictures, some of the dishes were already half-eaten because we were starving Our favorites were the Thai Iced Coffee, Thai Fish Cake, Crab Rangoon, Papaya Salad Lao Style, and Special Combo Pho. They keep the restaurant clean.

We came in to order take out at 1930 on a Friday which is about an hour before close. I called them for an hour before that, all I got was a busy signal every time! When we finally got there, they had closed early and supposedly "sold out of everything!" Hmmm, suspicious... It's highly unlikely that they sold out of everything unless their fridge went bad and everything spoiled. Did I just step into a third world country? Actually, that's worse than third world countries. At least they will have something left on the menu. So I was politely turned away and asked to come back another time. No thanks! You lost my business... I just moved to the area and the last Thai restaurant that I lived close to knew me by name. "The usual?" "Yep!" Here, "sorry we ran out of everything, come back another time!" My last place, "ohhhhh I'm sorry, I came 5 minutes until close, can I still dine in? I'm packing up my house and have no furniture to eat on at home." "Sure!" Here, not so much.... You can't even get take out an hour before close. And I couldn't call in a phone order 2 hours before close! I'll take my business elsewhere.
