Ashoka Indian Restaurant Miami

I’ll start by stating that I love the food from both Ashoka restaurants—either in-house or takeout you can’t go wrong. I consider the Miami location to be the flagship establishment because of the spacious and beautiful dining room with high ceilings and a pleasant dining ambience that harkens back to the family restaurants I grew up eating at with my family where you felt at home when dining there. My favorite dish is the chicken biryani but I recommend taking a look at the specials as the menu is extensive and everything that comes out looks delicious. When I return I am looking forward to the tandoori fish. There is an extensive options of great drinks as well—the mango lassi is my favorite. I consume a good deal of mangos but the flavor on that specific drink is uniquely satisfying. The service and overall experience from seating to desert is top-notch. I highly recommend Ashoka for gluten-free eaters (like myself), vegetarians, and families with children too. Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options to choose from. Dietary restrictions: I eat gluten all the time and keto most of the time and I love eating at Ashoka. Kid-friendliness: Great environment for kids. Spacious and comfortable. Perfect for a family meal.

⚠️ Health Hazard ⚠️Dont Buy Groceries ⚠️ We got frozen paratha randomly from cooler, to my friend who is pregnant. When we heated the parathas , it turned out to have fungus. When we call , to ask them to remove all Parathas so other people don’t end up eating rotten ones. But their response was so wage and didn’t replace anything. When we requested refund , they asked me to come all the way to store . I told that we can send them pictures but still respond without respect. This kind of grocery store , which doesn’t care of customer health or service shouldn’t be allowed be in this restaurant/grocer business. I hope people realize and save your money. Dont believe in all 5star reviews , those are just marketing or restaurant . Not all , but mostly.

I was disappointed with my recent experience at Ashoka Indian Restaurant & Market. I purchased frozen parathas from the store, but upon opening the pack at home, I found fungus growing on them. When I called the store to report the issue, I was surprised to hear that they didn't take responsibility since the parathas were sourced from vendors. I suggested that they discard the potentially spoiled packs to avoid health hazards, but the representative was hesitant to do so without knowing which ones were affected.
