Best food since coming to Denver. I regularly think this city has a lacking food scene and then you find gems like this.
We loved everything!!! So glad we stopped by! Our Drinks, appetizers, meals and even music was spot on! Services was lovely as well. Highly recommend
Lamb kofta was undercooked, raw meat in middle (doordash order)
Overall we were pretty disappointed with Ash’Kara for two main reasons; bad service and small portions. The quality of the mezze was 2/5, the hummus wasn’t smooth enough and the baba ganoush was pretty flavorless. I was raised on this food and it’s pretty clear the chef wasn’t - no middle eastern restaurant charges for pitas, it’s just insane to charge $3/pita on top of $10 for a tiny little portion of hummus. The hummus was maybe a quarter of a cup portion, it was only enough to just barely cover the top of the plate. The hummus wasn’t smooth which leads me to believe it’s made with canned chickpeas… so this is like $0.11 worth of hummus. The server was really what bothered us - he was nowhere to be seen for a good hour after we got our entree, then came by to give us the check by saying “hey guys, we have another table waiting so please leave in the next 5 minutes”… that’s how the check was delivered… “hurry up and pay”. I definitely won’t be back.
The service was horrible, the waitress kept on forgetting our stuff, and gave us so much attitude. The food is overhyped, the chicken sandwich, and chicken wrap was super salty. Overall I would not be coming because of the terrible service we got.
Babaganush was good. Zaatar chicken way over salted and dry. Pretentious staff.
Absolutely excellent — definitely get the lamb kofte, falafel and hummus. Best hummus I’ve had and best eats we had during our Denver trip!
This was a stellar dining experience. Fantastic food and service. Our server, Jake, was extremely knowledgeable and made our ordering experience perfect.
Exceptional cuisine, inspired by the flavors of the Middle East, combined with impeccable service.
