I enjoyed my birthday dinner here today at Asha’s restaurant, the food and service and everything was absolutely amazing, highly recommend this place to everyone. Our waiter Shaid couldn’t do enough for us, he was brilliant, he went above and beyond for us, he was always smiling, and he bought out a cake for me with a candle after our meal, as it was my birthday. This was a nice little touch. I’ve never been to a restaurant where they’ve treated us like royalty, Asha’s gets a 10/10 for food, service, decor, and comfortable seating! This is my 2nd time here, I came many years ago and it was brilliant then, and still brilliant now! Thank you Shahid for the wonderful experience, I won’t forget this birthday, and next time we visit Birmingham we will definitely come to Asha’s again!
Friendly welcome to the restaurant and nicely decorated. Service was quick and all the food was delicious - probably the best tikka masala I've ever eaten. Staff were attentive and made sure you had everything you needed but it didn't feel overbearing. Good value for money consodering the high quality of the food. We also had cocktails which were expertly made.
Just stopped in for a few cocktails
Delicious food, polite staff (even though we did come late), big venue. Highly recommended!
Underwhelming to be honest! Decor is nice and their team were nice and friendly as you’d expect. I think the food and drinks are overpriced, I’m not sure what sort of taste / experience I was expecting for the cost but I have better food at my local tandoori / Indian restaurants. Large portions with no real taste sensation. My 3 friends and I dine out regularly and we aren’t afraid of paying good money for good food but we all agreed this was average quality. Service was basic but charged 10% gratuity at the end which we paid just so there was no fuss. We won’t be visiting again, on to the next.
Food was massively overpriced. I understand it's the city centre but £25.00 for a mediocre Tikka massala is ridiculous. Staff were friendly. Drinks were nice. I won't be recommending to my friends.
Went during a weekday lunchtime so restaurant was quiet but we were with very good friends,on recommendation. Wow what a beautiful restaurant. The food was absolutely hands down the best. I went for a salmon Malabar. Huge portions… you could ideally share a bowl of rice. The Peshwari naan was delicious with coconut cherry and pistachio. The starters also so tasty and beautifully presented. The vegetarian options also looked delicious and presented well. Service was prompt, knowledgeable and so polite without encroaching on privacy. Would recommend and will definitely be returning! Vegetarian options: My friend had the vegetarian options and they were so delicious and beautifully presented. Plenty of options to choose from!
Thank you very much to Ashas, my favorite Indian restaurant in Birmingham. We visited last night to celebrate my mom's anniversary. And thank you Shahan for great service.
Just an absolutely stunning menu. Food quality is so very high. Really timeless. The standard of other restaurants has been set by Asha's and it maintains some of the very highest quality dishes out there.
Thoroughly enjoyed both the food and Shahn’s service. The meal was delightful. The lunch menu offers excellent value with a wide selection, and all the dishes at my table were delicious. I will definitely be returning.
