Really cool place to enjoy a drink with your smoke. Prices were fair, and they had a great selection of cigars. I was pleasantly surprised to find a CAO Amazon Basin cigar, which I've been trying to find for a few months. The seating was very comfortable, and chilling there for 2 hours over a smoke was great! Definitely recommend!

In town to visit the in-laws and found this cigar shop to sneak away for the afternoon. The place is clean inside and out with a decent selection of beer wine and port. The service from the owners daughter was great. She was friendly and held a good conversation. Ventilation was good even in the relatively small indoor space with 5-6 other people smoking cigars at the same time. The other customers were also friendly to speak with and offered great suggestions on some other cigars. I was supposed to fly out yesterday, but Frontier made us miss our flights, so I’ll be making another stop here today to relax with another smoke. Thanks Ash and Ale!

Great selections. Wonderful people working and hanging around. Sit outside and people gawk and enjoy your cigar and a fresh glass of red or a beer.

Kenn & Mack were absolutely fantastic! They provided incredible suggestions & truly made me feel at home. I’ll certainly make this my go to spot when I’m visiting Palm Coast!

A few important things to consider before reading this review: *I been going to the place here and there for years when it was The Humidor. *The Humidor at opening was well run with a solid cigar selection. *Last few times I went into The Humidor a few years back the selection became worse, it appeared it was not well run with little oversight from the previous owner (at least from my perspective). *The Humidor just became Ash & Ale with a new ownership change. Long story short: Ash & Ale is a complete 180 from the last few years of The Humidor in my opinion. A great cigar store/lounge must have a hands-on tobacconist running the shop with a speciality. Speciality for Ash & Ale is well they serve beer and wine only (no liquor). I seen the owner working with a wine vendor previously on trying to find wines that can go well with his location and some of the cigars that they carry. I am not really a beer with a cigar type of guy, but a recommendation from the owner on a beer with a Connecticut wrapped cigar was dead-on delicious. The owner was also dead on with a cigar recommendation regarding strength. Selection is solid with Patróns, CAO, and other common cigars with a few non-common ones to boot (they had the more higher end Didier Cigars in stock, which are worth it to try if you have the $). Seems selection changes here and there, which is good. For the size of the lounge the amount of cigars is sufficient. Prices are also sufficient since it is a lounge that also serve beer and wine. Atmosphere is relaxed, with events here and there. It isn't a lounge where you need a club membership that cost tons of $ with a dress code since you might be lacking in size and to really enjoy the place, thank goodness. Ash & Ale does have memberships, which benefits includes a locker and discounts. Also this is a real tobacco shop with an Indian statue inside (you will understand if you understand tobacco history). They don't sell pipe tobacco (since it is a cigar lounge), but honestly I don't think the owner would have a problem if you bring your pipe tobacco and tins and smoke it in your briar. I know Palm Coast have a few pipe tobacco smokers. Will be coming back a lot more when I move back to Palm Coast full time in a few months.

Love this place. One of my favorite places to go when back in Palm Coast. Nice selection of cigars in an even nicer setting.
