Rooms: Antique store, but cozier. Lots of great couches and chairs inside , big porch with more lounging spots. Quaint, quirky, a bit small town rustic, and WE LOVED IT! The building needs work , which they seem to be doing. Don't expect Embassy Suites ! Old treasure. Come on by and help keep the only public mineral baths in Tennessee going to spread that healing power! Food & drinks: Great breakfast, veggie omelets, hashbrowns and sausage patties , local fresh eggs and veggies , coffee, orange juice , served with a slice of cool jazz.

Very unique experience. Did not realize we had something like this in TN! My hubby took me here as a surprise and I was not disappointed! The service, the experience, the decor, the owners, everything was wonderful! Noteworthy details: Historical mineral spa tucked away in a old-fashioned Southern house. Small town feel, really enjoyed myself. Not many places like this exist anymore. Highly recommended

A hidden gem in east tn with healing waters. A bit of a drive but worth it. This are boast a unique water feature whereas it has 5 types of water that runs through this little town. Black water (sulfur) hot springs water, natural spring water, mineral water and regular water at least this was what my google search led me to. We did a basic room without TV suite and upgraded to full spa experience. This was to include the Bio Mat and Vibrational frequency bed. Both very relaxing and noteworthy. Next, was the candlelight healing water bath. The black water is cold and clear despite the name, the hot springs water was extremely hot but both combined in the same tub providing a perfect temperature and an interesting smell but genuine relaxation. The smell isn’t terrible your nose does adjust to it after a bit. However we decided NOT to shower afterward and we went to sleep to discover that our skin was incredibly soft and in balance. I had some neck pain that went away and inflammation in my feet that went away. I slept very well. They lock doors at 11. Water and coffee is provided through the hotel. Lots of historical items and history about the place was also available to be viewed. There is a bit of crystals for the rock hounds and overall a great and pleasant experience. We was sure what to expect so we kept our mind open on the drive in. The hotel is showing signs of deterioration as to be expected with such an old building. I was told on our way out chatting with the front attendant that they will be bringing Infared beds in soon to add to the spa experience. It was romantic and alluring. We both enjoy old buildings and taking a step back in time was superb. I took tons of pictures sadly I do t have a way to add them! Rooms: Rooms were quaint and quiet for the most part. Sink is in room and small shower and toilet connected. We stayed in basic room without the suites TV. We enjoyed the balcony and the older feel to this very history hotel. The stars in the night sky were worth the drive alone. There is a space heater in the room and fresh towels with plenty of toilet paper. Rooms were small but very cozy and romantic. A excellent escape from big city life and the business of daily life. Nearby activities: We are at dinner belles and it was great price. Items are a la carte but desert is included with your meal. Food & drinks: We got sandwiches totes fries and drinks complimentary dessert Noteworthy details: This place is very historic and there is a lot to look at in and around the hotel. Family owned and operated. Current owners purchased a couple years ago. Breakfast is complimentary and we were served a blueberry cobbler type pie and hash brown with slices of grapefruit and orange. Coffee was available throughout the hotel as well as breakfast. Other items included orange juice and apple juice. Lots of amazing history in this hotel. An old broadcast radio hosting frequencies that picked up foreign broadcasts was very cool but not working condition, a 160 year old piano, a Banjo made out of a cookie tin, a small apothecary shop and much more. I was hoping to see some old books in that library they had a small reading room but I suppose those old books are priceless now. We enjoyed the full spa treatment.

Red Boiling Springs was once a hot-spot destination for its healing sulfur baths, & I’m glad to say that I’ve finally been able to try one. Armour’s Hotel, while definitely dated, has a charm that’s incomparable to big chains. My wife & I loved the mineral bath & vibroacoustic relaxing room. The owners were nothing but kind, cordial & prompt. This is the type of bucolic couples getaway that we needed.

Just did the spa mineral bath. It was amazing, relaxing, and cleansing. The owners were very polite and there was an amazing smell coming from the dining area... made me super hungry... like grandma's house used to be.

Staff is wonderful, enjoyed the mineral bath(especially after you get used to the smell). Hope to see updates to this beautiful place. Would definitely recommend for a quite get away. Rooms: Bathrooms are very small and sink needs to be a bit higher up(think they were made for very short people). Comfortable bed covers. Nearby activities: Not many. Food & drinks: Only one local restaurant
