Came here for a conference

This was our first time at this resort & I would definitely come back & would recommend this resort to friends & family. The service in all areas were great. I do want to thank Tara in the bar. She had amazing service for my family. Her vibrant personality is contagious & positive. Thank you for making my son’s 10th birthday trip amazing. Until next time, love the Cali fam!

Seemed very dated and in need of maintenance. There is a big public notice sign on the edge of the property saying the property is going to be developed into a residential neighborhood. The food was very good and the staff was helpful and friendly. I don’t think I would stay there again.

My new bride and I got married this past Saturday. We reserved a room on the 5th floor in Camelback from Saturday - Tuesday just to get away for a few days and enjoy some pool time and let things settle down a bit. My plan was to stop by there around 11 am Saturday morning and check bags, hoping to just make it a smoother check-in when we both arrived there later Saturday evening. The front drive guy suggested I go in and check and see if the room was ready to check in to, much to my fortune, it was! I am sure that is a hit-or-miss thing, but I took it with a smile. The front desk guy was incredibly nice, knew we were getting married, and gave us a bottle of champagne, room keys, and a map of the place. This next part is the only part where I knock off one star, parking was a nightmare. It's the business model, it is what it is. Because the awesome pool area is also open to the public/non-guests, parking can be really difficult at times (like 11:15 am on a Saturday). I went up to the room and my keycard didn't work. After my long walk from the parking spot that I found in Casa Grande, I was a little pissed and debating what was farther, to carry this stuff back to the car or to the front lobby. I stopped the next housekeeping staff member that walked by and explained what was going on. He said he could not let me in there (understandable) but would flag security to come help me out. I appreciated that, but was still thinking it would be awhile and was going to call too. Before I was done with the phone menu, security came walking up and determined that I was just given a room number one number off and got me to the right room a few doors down (mistakes happen, the fix was great). Got in there, checked out the room for a few, put my stuff down and left. All I'll say from that point on, staff was amazing. They're the reason I leave this review. Every single one from the maintenance staff, security, golf cart drivers, front desk, front drive, gift shop peeps, lifeguards, were so nice and quick with a good morning and bantered with you if you were in the mood. They weren't really there if you didn't need them, but were right there when you did. The bartenders were great (special shout to Nash, but tbf we probably spent the most time with you) housekeeping turn down requests were spot on, we'll definitely be coming back, but will probably schedule something like a Tuesday-Thursday next time. I left there a happy guy, and not just because I married a beautiful woman.

What an awesome time. The associates were so pleasant as well as helpful when needed. We enjoyed the great food , spa and Waterpark. Nice hiking trails nearby! Best staycation I have ever had. We will be back. Thank you!!
