Got my patacón sandwhich within 10 minutes. So freaking good!!!! I got the chicharrón one and it was filled with yummy cheese, beans, lettuce and the patacones were cooked to perfection. Definitely give this spot a try during your next shopping visit here !
I’ve had two good arepas here. Today’s was not as good and also there was a fly in my arepa. I called and they hung up on me.
This was my first time coming here. I ordered the arepa with sirloin and my partner ordered the patacón with chicharon (with the green plantain). The food was extremely flavorful and filling. Staff were polite and welcoming. The seating area for the establishment has cute print outs of the history of the restaurant which I found to be a cute read while we ate. I would definitely come back!
I ordered the sirloin Patacon with sweet plantain and avocado. I will say that although my food took roughly 10-15 minutes to make and there was only one older woman cooking up everyone's orders some how the 3 groups AFTER ME got their food before I did. To the point where the guy that took my order asked to see my receipt because everyone else kept getting called ahead of me which leads me to think my order got lost in sauce * so to speak * The patacon itself was really good. I wish the cheese were melted a bit more and everything in general had a touch more flavor but the portion was big enough to feed 2 practically.
