I’ll start with what earned the 2 stars. The ambiance is cool. It’s in a neat little plaza, and the food was mostly pretty good. The service was horrible. When we arrived, the hostess greeted us with a yawn and let us know that she was SO glad that we were her last reservation of the night (Our reservation was at 9pm, they close at 11pm). Once seated, we waited 20 minutes to be assigned a waiter who finally brought us water. It was our first visit so we asked for information about course sizes, and showed him what we thought we’d order. He assured us it was not too much food. Our entire order came out within 2 minutes (4 different courses). Even at our large table with just 2 of us, we were overcrowded. It ended up being way too much food, and we spent most of the meal out of water. After being not checked on for another 20 minutes, we flagged down the waiter to order a dessert to go and ask for the check. We got the check in a reasonable amount of time and promptly paid it. The waiter said our dessert was on the way (just a slice of cake). We waited ANOTHER 20 minutes (after paying the bill) before finally flagging down a random waiter (couldn’t find ours) to ask about our slice of cake. She promptly brought it to us, and we finally got to leave one of the worst service experiences of our lives. Sad we didn’t catch them on a better night, the food was decent.
Fun and caring waiter but the timing not right: cocktails arrive late on the table, plates come all at once with no time to properly enjoy, wine arrived only after we finished the meal.. The food is delicious and cocktails too but service must improve. Quite pricey but the quality of ingredients is top notch
Arc has been a favorite from the beginning and they have only gotten bigger and better. Try the bacon and the cornbread if you love flavor! The cocktails alone are worth a visit. No reason to drive to LA anymore.
Amazing service in there speakeasy, great vibes, and amazing drinks. Duck fat potatoes and shishito peppers a must. Pizza very good, house style. Will try the gruyere/onion/bacon next time.
Beautiful place, food is amazing and the choice of cocktails and beers too… (very surprised and happy to see you guys have sint Bernardus) honestly I can’t find any fault!
Everything was great. Great service. We had the shishito peppers, fried olives, cornbread (amazing), broccolini, roasted beet salad, calamari, salmon, and ribeye. Everything was good!
