Ode to the Turnover Oh, dear Arby’s turnovers, where have you flown? You’re not in Ohio, only in other states known! Your absence is felt, a culinary blight, Leaving our taste buds in a desperate plight. Why did you elope like a mischievous sneeze, Bringing all of Ohio down sick to its knees? We roam through the bakeries with a taut, hopeful heart, But alas, you're elusive, a work of fine art! You were flaky and sweet, a scrumptious delight, A flavor so tempting, a true dynamite! Without you, our life's just a pastry-less quest, We implore you return, be our taste buds’ guest! So, Arby’s turnovers, if you hear my plea, Come back to me now, and set my joy free! In this world full of treats, you're truly divine, Lost no more, my dear turnovers, be always mine! —————— This Ode to the Ohio Arby’s turnover is submitted in a spirit of sorrowful protest over their decision to discontinue serving their turnovers. As an avid Arby’s fan, I find myself rarely eating here any more, except when I travel out-of-state to the parts of the country that has not lost their pastry-fluff intelligence quotient and cancelled the Apple Turnover. (?!?)
While placing my order I asked for jalapeño poppers and the lady says do you see it on the menu with a very nasty attitude. I apologized saying I'm sorry I didn't know you discontinued them. She then got smart with me again and I just drove off. Never again. I've worked customer service for over 20 years and would have never let that slip out of my mouth. I know it doesn't matter but will never go back to this location.
Is this the Arby's next to Kroger on Powell rd? If so, I just wanted to say that I only come to this one, because they always make the best food! My husband loves the Turkey Ranch & bacon sandwich, and Daryl and the girls in drive-thru always take good care of us! They are professional, fast, and the food is always perfect! Thank you!
