Appleridge Cafe is always a dependable place for an informal meal. Nice people
Food was fantastic, got quite the plate for what little I paid! Food was cooked perfectly, wait time felt like nothing, only downside was the horrible lurking shadow thing hiding behind the front counter, maybe that one was just me. 11/10, would feast again.
This cafe serves up some of the best green chili I have ever eaten. The flavor is so delicious you could easily eat it in a bowl with tortillas on the side and call it a meal. The dish comes with crispy hash browns and two I think homemade tortillas - so much food :)The tamales are delicious with perfectly cooked masa and a good ratio of masa to fillig. The chili relleno was just the right amount of heat and cheese. The portions are huge so come hungry or plan on leftovers! The drip coffee is quite good - I was pleasantly surprised. The service was also excellent. The atmosphere is a bit utilitarian but cozy. I do wish they offered a vegetarian green chili but I still enjoyed it. We plan on returning soon to try other dishes.
I have been going to Appleridge cafe for two decades love the food and the wait staff great service always Dietary restrictions: Their green chili is really good and is gluten free
