Applebee's Grill + Bar

Late lunch on a Friday. Only a few customers in the place, but a friendly waitress and a great cook in the kitchen. My wife's cheeseburger was good. My sirloin was great! Tender, tasty, cooked just right. Garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli were also tasty and properly cooked. The friendliness of the waitress helped offset the annoyance of the terrible music being played.

Baby Back ribs are always good here. Hard to get to if you are coming from the west.

I ordered food on Applebee's website for doordash delivery February17th. It was partially picked up and delivered. After running to catch the driver, while standing in the pouring rain, he tried to gaslight me that Applebee's didn't give him my whole order, then he tried saying it wasn't on the receipt. He stared at me like I was rude for wanting my entire order. I finally walked away soaked and called door dash. They pretended to offer resolution, they would refund 50 percent. I was satisfied and moved on. Today I check my bank account and discovered I was still charged the entire amount. Doordash was called and instead of being helpful they actually told me to get my refund from Applebee's because they refunded them and I would need to retrieve it through an app. I am not registered with or have Applebee's App on my phone. They again told me it wasn't their problem and basically hung up on me. So, I called Applebee's and spoke to the GM at the Gandy location. Dan was EXTREMELY helpful and appreciative of me as a customer. He reviewed the order, my past orders, and quickly offered and processed a full refund. Applebee's is always spot on with food quality and customer service. Thank you for taking care of my situation Dan! I will continue to be a loyal customer of Applebee's!

Our server was really good and attentive to our table. I can’t speak for other waiters as I kept hearing other tables asking for utensils or jobs being done right. I’m just glad the lady that served us was great
