Applebee's Grill + Bar

First I arrived at 5:40 on a Saturday. Told the hostess that there was gonna be 12 in n our party n she replied it would be 30 mins. Whn I asked her whn was she gonna seat us she said that there were only 2 servers that night n she was told not to seat us until one the party's lft that pericular section. She could have informed me before we waited until 7 to get seated especially since there were open tables. Not the customers fault they don't have the help. When you leave a review for this place it's always the same response from the owner wanting you to paste the web page below so they supposibly contact you. That's a joke! If they can't get the help then they should close down for the evening. I seen at least 2 parties leave n also seen a family get up frm a table cause they never got waited on....unbelievable, would not recommend this place.

I took my family out to dinner at one of the local Applebee's. I received the worst service from a server today. It took 2 times asking my husband what he ordered for his drink. It took 20 minutes for him to get a beer from the tap. But the alcoholic mix drink came out before the sodas? Don't you think the bar drinks would have both been made at the same time? I was a server for a long time. Then we waited for almost 45 minutes to get our food. Oh wait it still took longer than that. Then when we got upset the server had to tell other tables we asked to speak to the manager. Mind you only 2 meals came out right before the manager came. Needless ti say we didn't even eat our food. There was no need for the server to announce to everyone in the restaurant that we asked for the manager. I understand the short staff, but again others who came in after us were already eating and drinking. That is very poor customer service from the server as well as the manager. We ordered at 7pm. The restaurant wasn't even that busy. But somehow we got shifty service and got attitude thrown in our face. You can bet I'm no longer going to any Applebee's in the town that I live. Not to mention we didn't even eat our food. This happened at the Applebee's on Maysville Rd in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Please train your employees not to blame the customers because they are short staffed. Or maybe you should pay your employees better so they're not so grouchy.

These young kids need to learn table utensils. They were not crowded. 45 minutes waiting on food when nobody is even there.. Grueling experience.

I always order orienfal crispy chicken salad. It's top drawer!
