Applebee's Grill + Bar

The food is good but the tables all dirty got a bad builded up very sticky even your finger sticks to table. Take a napkin and rubb on table and you will see the dirt roll up on napkin not just one table all clean up I might Be back .

I hate leaving bad reviews but the experience was mediocre. Food and service were slow and honestly just ok. My sandwich and fries were comparable to Wendy’s just at a higher price. There could have been reasons as to why as I believe there may have only been one server and one bar tender working (besides kitchen and management). It was a Friday around 2 with maybe 15 people (7 tables).

Today, Saturday at 320pm, my family and I decided to dine at Applebee's in Florence, Ky. I wanted to try one of their new holiday drinks and the 2/$25 special. Upon entering, I heard the key pad beeping as other reviewers talked about. It was indicated "Duct Smoke" which means a smoke detector in the HVAC system has activated. Obviously it's not a fire in the unit or we wouldn't have been able to walk in. We should have stopped there. There was 2 couples in front of us. The girl seated both couples but told them it would be a wait. She told us to have a seat on the bench and it will be about a 20 minute wait cuz there was no staff. This girl has worked there for a long time and shouldn't have to be looked bad upon cuz they don't have staff. Not her fault. Call the other store for help. I agree with other reviewers that there is no staff, place is dirty and today, it's had a bad odor. It really says alot when they can't fix a life safety maintenance item. They don't care about the safety of their customers but they don't have to under these conditions. We have had good experiences and good food but good service is lacking. So much for the catch phrase..."Eatin' good in the neighborhood".

We stopped in for lunch yesterday. There was only one cook(Sandy), and while there were not a lot of tables in the restaurant, they had multiple customers leave because of a wait they had implemented on seating customers. Carrie was not willing to help the bartender with a to go order continuously stating she had a customer waiting for the order, Jessica was trying to make Carrie's customers drinks. Carrie was very rude to some of the customers who had sat at one of her tables telling them they could not sit there and that other people were ahead of them she didn't even consider the fact that the man was visibly having trouble moving around. My husband's burger was burnt on one side while he didn't say anything to our server just to me, someone apparently overheard him and told Sandy she then preceded to say oh well he wanted it well done. Our visits here are usually very nice, the food and service is great and we enjoy seeing Jessica, Anthony and Mike.

Clean and food is good. Server was fast but his personality wasn't very good. Restaurant is close to I-275 E/W.

We sat at the bar. They were swamped but we were watching the UK game and didn't care. The bartender gave great service. Kudos to her

This location continues to get worse. When I sat down, i remembered exactly why it had been a couple years since i had been here. Dirty. Slow service. Staff is more concerned with having social hour amongst themselves than actually taking care of the customers. When the hostess finally greets you, she throws menus on the table. We were seated at a dirty table that I had to ask to be cleaned, only for it to be an inconvenience since it was barely wiped off. But all tables were dirty. Food was on the floor, & nobody bothered to pay attention enough to even clean it up. Light fixtures over the tables looked as is they've never been cleaned. A total of 6 tables occupied, & 7 servers plus bar tender & it was too much to refill drinks until I ask for a check. But I guess on the upside, they let you know they have to write down all of your credit/debut card info, they don't allow substitutions of any kind, & only part of the menu is available. Don't waste your time, you'll just leave with regret & a horrible experience.
