Feel bad writing a 2 star review as the staff were very friendly, the food decent value for money, but the smell in the Mens restroom has to be the worst I've ever encountered in a food establishment. Get it sorted, like open sewer stench coming from your drains. $1 beers and 50c wings are great value but not if you make people go to the toilet in conditions akin to chemical warfare. Reading the reviews below it looks like someone previously complained two months ago, so don't even bother with an auto response of "copy and paste this link and tell us more". You have the information you need, sort it out.

Enjoyed everything there! Very pleased

Overall a pretty great visit to my local Applebee’s in South Austin! Our server, Zandria, made the experience a pretty great one. I really enjoyed the lime chicken entree and their mozzarella stick appetizer, although the broccoli chicken alfredo was a bit bland. Their drinks specials are always so affordable, especially during the week. Would definitely go back for their weekly specials!

Standard Applebee's decore the server had wonderful personality. We tried their special 2 for $25, and there was more than enough food.

Victoria the assistant manager had me wait 1.5 hours to schedule a future interview. She send a cook and waitress to tell me she not scheduling interviews that day. I asked to speak to her. She came out, no empathy, no consideration, no apology. She said she was busy with cooler installation. That process didn't start 45 minutes after I waited. Why didn't she come the first 45 minutes I was there? No multi tasking skills or leadership whatsoever, and her actions to send non management to relay a message is so unprofessional. When I expressed how I felt n how she could just come out, take two minutes n do her job she said she wasn't going to continue employment for me. Also a patron asked the bartender why I was sitting there for so long? Patron noticed, it was so obvious. Why did she treat me that way? Just two minutes, some empathy, and we would be ok.
