Applebee's Grill + Bar

I’m from North Carolina. Was searching for a family restaurant to dine at with my kids. I came across this restaurant it was close to where we were. At first I was extremely apprehensive after reading the reviews. Their horrible. I took my chances and still came. I’m so glad I did. The service was excellent. Food was excellent. I have not one bad thing to say about this restaurant. My server name was Kenderrick. He was friendly. Our food came out quickly and he continued to check on our table. Thank you to this team for showing us a good time as we continue to enjoy our vacation.

It is noon on 3/31/24 and as I walked in I had to walk out. I was ready to place a to go order but a very rude bartender lady told me that they aren't doing any to go orders because they are all out of to go containers. I've never went thru this scenario before at a restaurant so I asked her what her manager was thinking because they are in charge of inventory like this. She shrugged me off and I told her that I would be complaining to corporate and she yells "GO DO IT" as im walking off! I will follow up with corporate on Monday morning. This is my second visit to this particular location and have yet to even receive service. My first attempt was a few months ago and they refused service 45 minutes before closing stating that they weren't taking any more orders. I will not return and do not recommend this very UNPROFESSIONAL HOSTILE location.

March 26th 2024. My brother and I pulled up to this Applebee's to grab a bite. We were seated and waited 20 minutes and NO ONE CAME to serve us or check on us. We got up and left. I've eaten at this location before and the customer service wasn't the best but it was convenient due to its location. I would not suggest eating here.

Wait time is horrible waited a whole 30 mins nobody acknowledge us it was also not worth eating there

I took my family here. I should have known something was wrong I waited 20min to be sat. Then the food took 45min and they were busy. She brought the kids food w the grown up food. Like tender n fries shouldn't take as long as a steak. My waitress was in a rush for some reason. Like Hailey u need to slow down this will miss up ur tips bc I wouldn't be writing this review if u just communicated with me

The food was really good, it's clear they need some help because of how long the food took to come out. The staff were nice.

The food was really good. I ordered an impossible burger. Unfortunately it took a while for the hostess to come to the front to greet us and seat us. I noticed people getting turned away and maybe did not want to wait to be seated after we were seated. The front entry needed picked up and cleaned candy wrappers on the floor, women’s restroom was in a disarray. It seemed to be short staff don’t know but this place could really make money if you had a full staff, although it did appear to have several workers. Don’t know what the issue could have been and why the team was so slow. Our waitress was a little shy and didn’t talk much, she also took a while to come take out order. We waited about 15 minutes and that needs to improve as well, we were traveling and were really hungry that’s the only reason we stayed. I don’t know the waitress name because she wasn’t in a full uniform nor had a name tag on. Fairly young African American female. Customer service needs to improve a bit to avoid going out of business in the near future. To the cook, you rock, it was really good and the temperature of the food was good as well. Vegetarian options: Not a lot of vegetarian options but the impossible burger was really good.
