AOI Sushi & Izakaya

Maybe the best sushi I've ever had (definitely try the taro) and super affordable too! Only downside is the place is small and busy so it can be difficult to get a table.

Very friendly staff and the owners are very attentive. The Nigri are some of the best I've had in terms of size, flavor, and cost effectiveness.

Been coming here off and on for two years. More recently, I’ve been doing a lot of takeout. The food is a little overpriced but good. I can even be okay with an 18% automatic tip on takeout. BUT if I call a little past 5pm to order two orders of fried chicken and two rolls, it is absolutely unreasonable that you tell me it will take 45 minutes AND THEN, tell me it will take an additional 15 minutes when I arrive to pick up. And NO taking off the 18% tip and offering me sake is not going to appease me.

Greeted with smiles. Prompt service. Clean. Very fresh. BEST sushi in Boulder. (Next time we’ll take photos, but everything was so delicious the review was an afterthought). And very reasonably priced! Will be back for sure

Food was great. Fish is fresh.

Never heard about this place but craved some high-quality sushi. Sushi chefs were excellent, fish was fresh, and prices were low. A few rolls under $10 each and I was happy.
