Some other reviews mentioned vegan options, so I figured there would be something for me. There are no vegan options listed on the menu, and when I asked, the server confirmed that none of their offerings are vegan, and they didn't offer any options that could be modified to vegan. 5 star review because I don't want to lower their score. The restaurant doesn't advertise to be vegan-friendly and I'm not gonna penalize em for not having those options, but hopefully this is useful info to prospective vegan customers. Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options, but no vegan options. Dietary restrictions: There are vegetarian options, but no vegan options.
If you are on a budget and want a meal to stretch out for three days, this is your place! Yes, there is always a line up but the food is good and the portions are enormous. A bit loud but that comes with the amount of people always in the restaurant. It’s worth trying out!
The venue was small and cramped. But the service was really great. The menu was overwhelming because it's so big but the waitress helped us choose. The pasta was tasty and the portion size was big enough to last three meals across two people. I wouldn't line up to eat here but I would go again.
I went to eat at Anton's and we only ordered 2 dishes. When I paid, the lady who served us got angry because I didn't leave a tip. When will they understand that tipping is voluntary? Unless it's a large table of more than 6 people, and even then, I don't agree with it being mandatory. That restaurant leaves much to be desired.
Great food, great staff, awesome food!!! You always walk away with leftovers for the next time your hungry!!
I heard about Anton’s from many people and it had ~30 minutes lineup on a Friday night. Service is great and everything looks fresh and authentic. We ordered one pasta and one baked dish, the portions were huge and each meal could be for 2-3 people. The pasta was a bit dry, the amount of sauce was not enough for that portion. We did not like it. We definitely had better pasta in Vancouver. The baked dish tasted really good and I recommend it. Generally the place and line up was a bit overrated as we did not like the pasta much.
