Dined here on a road trip from Denver, CO to Albuquerque, NM. Antiquity was the restaurant I chose for our last stop on the road trip and final meal, and WOW - what a great choice! This restaurant had consistently shown up among the best restaurants in Albuquerque and after dining here, I can confirm they deserve that status. Although spending only 1 night in Old Town, I can't imagine having a better experience elsewhere. Location: in Old Town. As the name suggests, this neighborhood is part of the original "old town" of Albuquerque, before building out the modern city it has become. It's filled with old world, rustic southwest charm, with historic buildings, cacti and an almost wild west vibe with Pueblo design influences. Ambience: open kitchen right when you enter was a good sign. Dimly lit, dark wood, private nooks and booths, all adorned with local art - very elegant and a great special occassion or romantic date spot. Service: top marks - I cannot emphasize enough how great the service here was! I wish I could remember our server's name because he went above and beyond in attentiveness, explaining the menu options, engaging and ensuring we had the magical evening we had. The Food: Amazing - this is where Antuquity showed its true colors! Experience is important, but we ultimately came for the food and they DELIVERED! We ordered the stuffed mushrooms, scallops jalapeño, and Henry IV filet mignon. Every. Single. Dish. was a 5-star dish. The stuffed mushrooms (mushrooms stuffed with Italian sausage, wine, fresh herbs and grated parmesan) was a knockout! The scallops jalapeño were "jumbo" and came in a citrus cream sauce with tarragon, sherry and finely diced jalapeños (don't worry if you don't like spicy - it wasn't). Among the best scallops I've ever had, which is impressive since we were essentially in the desert! The Henry IV is a filet mignon wrapped in bacon served over a bed of artichoke leaves, topped with a divine béarnaise sauce and artichoke heart. This was hands down the best steak I had in 2023 and filet mignon is not even my favorite cut of steak!! Closing thoughts: go here for Amazing service, charming atmosphere and even better food for a night to remember

Great steaks. Traditional steakhouse. My only qualm is that it’s quite hot inside with little ventilation. Not so great: The scallops were fishier than we’re used to. The escargot was served in raw button mushrooms. The potatoes were cubed and not so tasty. The sides left much to be desired. Having been to too many steakhouses to admit, I expected the traditional staples to be perfect.

The Chateaubriand was fantastic, the upgraded salad is worth every penny, and the wine list limited but nice.

Reservation was at 5, entrée didn't come out until 615. Meat was spoiled. Wife literally got sick at the table Server freaked out - brought shrimp scampi. Wife allergic to shellfish. Now 640 and we are running late for concert. We just payed the bill and ran out the door. After the concert I looked at the receipt - they charged us for everything!! Needless to say, we were late to the concert, the host gave our seats to another couple, and we had to sit in the back. Maybe it was just bad luck, but we are surely disappointed and hope they will offer at least some concession.

Epitome of fine dining in Albuquerque, this quaint venue has romantic little booths inside of a historic building. We went for a birthday dinner and they added birthday magic to the table enhancing the experience. The server was top notch, he knew every detail of the menu, notes of the wines and history of the location. Lastly the food was impeccable, from the appetizers to the home made desserts by the owner. Probably one of the best dining experiences in the city if you want top notch service and food. Browse the menu and make sure to make reservations as this is a small intimate location and fills up fast.

I've been going to ABQ at least once a month since 2004; this is the City's best restaurant—hands down!
