Beautiful spot, but we left feeling unsatisfied across the board after this dining experience. From the second we sat down, server was pressing for all of us to get drinks (when some of us opted for water we were given dirty looks). We ordered the hummus plate and when we were ready for mains we again were pressed to order more Mezes (which none of us wanted, we were ready for our entrees). We were given the same attitude when it came to dessert (ended up getting dessert elsewhere just because we all wanted out by the end of the meal). Plating was nice, but all of our meals lacked flavor and the energy in the space made it hard to fully enjoy anything. Overall cute space, but condescending type service for us to buy more drinks, appetizers, and dessert (understand that they are trying to make their business, but there is a way to go about it that is less pressing and rude.) Personally would not come back here, but it was packed so guess there is a market for this type of place. Could use a few tweaks though.
I loved this place. My favorite place in nyc. The atmosphere and the service is perfect. Also the food is incredible!!
Amazing food with expectational service. The inside decoration was lovely. Definitely coming back.
Staff came with an unnecessary attitude and weird energy Could make a better drink at home Won’t be returning
I was recommended this restaurant by my Turkish foodie coworker and I was not disappointed. From the rustic/antique interior to the excellent food taste and presentation, this restaurant absolutely lived up to the hype. I had the lamb shish kebab, it was a bit on the pricey side but it was definitely worth it. I will be back here again to try the other menu items
Amazing restaurant! I loved it everything.
Pretty inside very nice vibe. Waiters very old school steakhouse. Attentive when around but forgot many basics…salt, pepper other condiments. Food was disappointing, says Mediterranean but the hummus was terrible and not plated well. The shrimp rolls were ok but a spicy mayo with fish roe was odd. Eggs were runny. The menu overall seemed more of a hodge podge which would have been fine but nothing we had was very good.
