I ordered a pizza online. I got a confirmation email letting me know they had my order and it would be delivered in 1 hour. After 2 hours I called and the “senior manager” Phil told me there was no order in the system. My card had already been charged so I asked for a refund and Phil told me “ I can’t just give you money when there was no order in the system”. He then told me that there are lost orders on the online system 2-3 times per night. He told me to go online to get a refund. I asked how if they didn’t have my info. He said he didn’t know how the refund works online but knew for a fact it would work. I told him I was confused how they could refund me without any order details and he just kept saying go online. He then offered to comp me a pizza for the inconvenience and I started to order. At this point he told me the pizza would be 50% off (after offering it for free). I told him no thank you and ordered from a different restaurant. Phil was very rude the whole time and seemed annoyed that I had ordered online and than even more annoyed that I even called to bother him. I would not recommend ordering from here unless you want to pay for a pizza that will never arrive!

While I love Anthony's Pizza, do not order delivery from them, order takeaway in person. The last few times I've ordered delivery, the delivery time was an hour or more from the time the order was placed, and then the actual delivery time was 20 to 30 minutes after the proposed delivery time. If it was once or twice, I'd say that things happen... but three times in a row? That's now an established pattern.
