Anthony's Pizza & Pasta

This is an update to the previous review. We came in again last Friday to give the place another chance, as we really like the pies. It was again at about 2:00 PM on a Friday (the 6th). The difference was like night and day. They still have the ordering machine on the counter. But, this time the fellow behind the counter greeted us the minute we walked in the door and took our order. We ate there, so he brought the pizza and the salad to our table and cleaned up afterward. The guy was terrific. I noted that they seem to no longer have a beer license, but that was very minor, considering that we like the pies so much. My wife and I decided that is was pretty much like high school...having pizza and a couple of Cokes. We figured that we owed it to management to redo the review and let everyone know how things have changed for the better. Well done! Came in at 2:00 PM on Friday. One person was waiting for an order. The person at the counter ignored us for about two minutes while he was talking with the guy in the back. When we got his attention he just pointed to a computer ordering screen on the counter. My wife asked if that was even if we were dining in. He simply pointed at the screen again. This is new. We have come to this location for years for decent NY style pies. But, we certainly don't appreciate whatever has motivated the ownership to move to a screen and a totally disengaged counterperson. This sure isn't what we expect in Castle Pines. We went over to Tony's and picked up some of their always good "to go" food. Message to Owner: You're probably engaged in the fast food drive to apps and online ordering. That probably makes some sort of sense in eliminating human error. Perhaps it's cost effective in some manner. But, you really need to do a little motivational training for the staff.

03.28.24. Just want to say the young man working the counter is awesome. He's politr and understands what great customer service is all about. Keep it up! Our go -to place for New York style pizza!

Save your money, go else where for a pizza.

Our go to pizza delivery spot! Staff is always friendly and food is great.

Very good pie, love it! Update: They just deliver, 10 out of 10.

Our salad had a bug in it and our pizza was made with olives instead of green chili. We have had other issues in the past as well.
