An's Hatmakers

They have a very cool idea of keeping the theme of the previous business. This location is a hat maker theme and the other location is a dry cleaning theme. The flavors of the ice cream are unique and vibrant. The customer service is amazing. Make sure you start with a flavor tour!

A bit pricey but awesome ice cream!

Best Ice cream I have ever had with delicious new flavors all the time and very nice staff who always treat people with a smile.

Fun flavors in an adorable ice cream parlor.

We stumbled upon this ice cream parlor (under the guise of a hat making shop) and had a wonderful experience. The server gave us a taste test of each flavor and they were all so delicious. Each month they make a new menu! I recommend the Bouquet of Flowers and Fedora flavors--so good together!

There are foods that soothe the hungry belly. An’s Hatmakers fills that need. Tasty gelato with an ocean view… yes!

100% recommend the Velour (salted caramel)! The girl behind the counter was so helpful and let us try a few flavors. I ordered the Fedora, very similar to tiramisu, and my husband had the salted caramel. Their made fresh daily waffle cones are also a must!

The best ice cream I ever had

Amazing gelato in a renovated Hatmaker shop in Del Mar. An’s was voted the #2 ice cream shop in America. They have delicious choices and we had great service. We sat outside and there is plenty of free street parking. I highly recommend if you find yourself in the area, or even nearby. A bit pricey, but the sizes are large for a gelato shop, and the quality is supreme.
