Anna's Taqueria

Despite the overall two stars I'm giving I want to say the portions are good and the food always tastes fresh and I don't have anything against the employees. My two stars and extreme disappointment comes from Anna's recently increasing the base price of their Mexican bowls from $8.30 to $11.50, or by 38.5% as of January 8th, 2024 with nothing added to the product, and it no longer feels like a fair price. This was a place that I ordered from regularly, at least once every single week, and I will not support a business that does this to their customers. I hope whoever in the management that is responsible sees this and knows that their greed has cost them. There are likely other stealth price increases too, be vigilant and pay attention to your receipts.

Very Good affordable food. In Boston that says something.

I came here expecting a good Mexican burrito and this place came highly recommended, but from a Californian who spent a year and a half living on the Texas-Mexico border,this is not Mexican food. The burrito was steamed and slimy coming out with a piece of cheese stuck to it. The chicken was not dry but not flavored in any sense of the word. the only thing that added any flavor was the pico. I even asked for hot sauce and it was not even hot. Wheelchair accessibility: Has a lift.

Took bowls to go. Food was fresh, salsa was great. Seating available if you wanted to sit and eat. Staff was friendly.

They can't make a wrap for 1 hour, don't come.

Go for: Accessible, somewhat "Americanized" Mexican food. Avoid if: You're looking for an establishment where the management doesn't assume they will get business solely based on the location, and cares about the sanitation of the seating area and the attitude and training of employees. Something surprising: The staff was poorly trained, and had to get three people involved to complete the order entry. Reservation needed? No, counter service. Overall Experience: 2/5. A frustrating and disappointing experience. If you were expecting some well-prepared Mexican food, visit another establishment a few blocks away on Staniford Street. Overpriced and frankly, pretty unprofessional operation, at least that day.
