WOW what an experience!!! That is the only way to describe this restaurant! The restaurant itself is in a beautifully renovated church preserving some of its history. The Chicken with Spinach and Ribeye with garlic sauce was perfectly cooked. What completely made the meal though was Zachariah! He was a phenomenal server who gave great recommendations and shared the story of the building and history of the restaurant. I highly recommend stopping even if just driving through!
By far the top restaurant to eat at in Bowling Green
So delicious! The mousaka made my mouth happy! Our waitress was helpful and insightful in healing us choose our entree. I'll come back to Bowling Green just to go to Anna's.
My boyfriend and I went here the weekend before Valentine's Day and the mood was calming and peaceful, the service was excellent and the food was absolutely amazing. I had a Gyro and he had steak. I recommend trying this place if you haven't. I tried his steak and that was the best steak I have ever had.
We discovered Anna's Greek Restaurant while stopping off in Bowling Green on our way back home to Chicago and what a find! The Greek dishes were not only delicious, but the presentation was exceptional. The spanikopita was perfectly made and the dolmaches (the classic grapeleaf dish) was served beautifully). We finished the meal with two outstanding homemade desserts: flakey baklava dripping with nuts and honey and a heavenly gamaoloka. I told the owner we drove up from Florida for the dessert alone. The decor is equally impressive: beautiful restored stainglass windows. original to the building (which was once an abandoned church). The interior also features the original pipe organ, a second floor mezzanine and soaring ceilings; contributing to the overall dining experience.
Came in tonight for Valentine’s Day (special menu and entertainment). The past few years my wife and I have made a point to spend this night with friends and cook steaks while enjoying our company. This has been great and stress free. However when we saw the specials we decided to try this tonight and that turned out to be a great idea. Every time we have ate at Anna’s we have had a great experience but between the fantastic entertainment and menu this was our best trip yet. I had the chocolate felit. I ordered this out of curiosity and it turned out to be one of the best steaks of my life. Thank you Anna for putting up such a great show and food. See you soon.
The food was top notch. I had the chocolate filet (valentine's day special) it was cooked perfectly and the red wine chocolate sauce was money! My wife had the salmon with a creamy dill sauce. Our server was great, stayed on top of everything but never around too much.
