I’ve been to Annalena before they won Michelin star back when they first open. It’s been a while since I’ve gone back and decided to book their set menu for dinner with my wife. Everything was absolutely amazing. From the waitress to the food to the atmosphere. My wife was so pleased at the end of the night. This is somewhere I would definitely recommend.

This upscale restaurant has been overwhelmingly popular for the past few years and for good reason. It offers unpretentious and very welcoming service, creative plating, and some of the best food around. It's evident a lot of time and thinking go into the dishes. There is no generic sauce or ingredient that is used repeatedly through the tasting menu. Instead, each dish has its own distinct flavor profile and matching fresh ingredients. Their cocktails are also delicious. What really stands out in the experience dining here, even for fine dining restaurants, is their service. Everyone that I interacted with (5+) was just down to earth, friendly, and extremely patient and attentive. Though the restaurant gets busy, staff members take the time to make you feel constantly attended to and well cared for. The restaurant is also nicely decorated. Overall, Annalena should be at the top of your list if you're looking for a memorable fine dining experience in Vancouver. Vegetarian options: No vegetarian option. Parking: Lots of paid street parking within a short 3 minute walking distance.
