Anita's Mexican Restaurant

This is a great family restaurant. It is quiet, and you are able to actually talk with other people at your table. The food is great! Out of all the Mexican restaurants in Bastrop, this is our go to place!

On Main Street and a little hard to spot driving by, but worth the walk down the block. Waitress was pleasant and helpful. Food was good and hot. Loved their sopapillas for dessert.

The food is ok. The margarita's good. The service last night was terrible. The waitress was terse, unfriendly and forgot adjustments to my order. We had a party of 6 and was forced to pay a 20% tip on subpar service. I will not go back there again. Eddy is a good server there but he was waiting on another table.
