Great place

Roommate had a seafood boil and I tried their sampler with Cajun fries - food was delicious and plentiful. Rob, our server, was extremely helpful and friendly. The manager and owner also came around and made sure that all was well which we greatly appreciated. Parking: A lot of parking Kid-friendliness: Family friendly atmosphere.

In a word, PHENOMENAL! Great food, service, and atmosphere. Check it out, RIGHT NOW. I did take out, but I highly recommend you dine in.

I have visited the Angry Crab Shack multiple times before and had really good experiences, however on February 24, 2024 my experience was a bit dampened. I'll start with the waitress, Julia, or Julz as she wrote on the table, was very attentive and pleasant. The food, shrimp and grits with ala cart catfish was on point as usual (4th time ordering that), my cocktail could have been better but that's ok. The problem was with one of the managers (I don't think he was the owner but I'm not for sure). He visited several couples in the restaurant to ask them about their experiences in the restaurant. I could see his interactions from where I sat. Twice he walked right past me, glanced at me, yet still walked by, never acknowledged me to ask about my experience. So I got his attention and asked him why he ignored me because he DID see me. He acknowledged what he did and said he had no reason for his actions and that he knew he was wrong. He asked what he could do to make it right. I said he could do nothing for me at that point but learn from this situation. I feel there is no price to pay for the humiliation I felt that day. I am a black woman and This was an "in your face" action. I usually wouldn't post anything like this but this was not okay! It took me almost a week before writing about this because I wanted to make sure I didn't write in haste. But his actions were not okay. The stars given were for the food, service from Julia, and the overall atmosphere. Certainly not his behavior.
